It’s fun to work with greenery as the focus, which we did a lot of this year. Jocey and Jamie’s wedding is a fun example however, of showing how you can use green as the only color and play with different tones of the foliage, making for it to have depth and variation just as working with color would do. This can give you an ethereal feeling and when getting married outside, a feeling of being immersed within nature completely.
Jocey had the fun idea to provide hair flowers for all of her girls, but she wanted them to be different for each girl, depending on hair style and preference. Therefore, we made some as hair clips, some hair crowns and some half crowns. All made with greens and succulents. They were like forest garden fairies when standing amongst the rolling river.
Taylor Carlisle Photography made full use of the sunlight and captured the girls in such a vibrant ray of golden light.
Certain greens you will find throughout these photos are: plumosa, seeded eucalyptus, sword fern, 4″ succulents, 2″ succulents, gray dusty miller leaves, jasmine vine, poppy pods, mini green hydrangea, dianthus-green trick, green coxcomb and gardenia foliage.
